Silver Creek Cabin offers a variety of classes on an ongoing basis.  If you are interested in a class please call, stop by, or view the calendar for classes, cost and dates. Please call if you would like a specific class for yourself alone or with a few friends.

Classes are designed to allow participants time to work on their projects between sessions. Please note that classes with several sessions will require out-of-class knitting.

Classes must be prepaid and materials purchased prior to the start date.

Beginning Knitting
A class for the novice knitter! Learn to cast on and off, knit, and purl. You will use your new skills to knit a scarf! This two part class costs $15.00 plus materials.

Beginner Sock Class
This class requires knowledge of how to knit and purl. It is also helpful to know how to knit in a round, but we are happy to help you learn. You will learn new techniques including how to turn a heel! This is a three part class and cost of the class is $40.00 plus materials.

Hat and Scarf for the Beginner
Just in time for the fall! Get those basics perfected and join us in creating a hat and scarf. Beginner must know how to knit and purl. This is a two part class and cost is $30.00 plus materials.

Needle Felting
Felt an animal or small doll. No knitting experience required because you don’t knit to create this project! Cost is $15.00 plus materials.

Felted Clog Slippers
A great knitting/felting project for the beginner! If you have never knitted or felted before this is a good first project to learn some new techniques. You must be able to knit and purl. This two part class costs $30.00 plus materials.

Felted Doll
A great beginner project for the knitter who knows how to knit and purl. You will create a small felted doll. Cost is $15.00 plus the cost of the kit.

Noni Felted Purse
Knit and felt a lovely evening bag. You must know how to knit and purl. This is a two part class and costs $30.00 plus materials.

Silver Creek Cabin is located in downtown Buffalo, Minnesota. The store is conveniently located
just a few blocks south of Highway 55. From Hwy. 55, take Highway 25 south and once you get
into downtown Buffalo turn right on Division Street. We are located on the hill overlooking
